Planning a cake for a child
Focus the design around the child’s favourite theme and the details they will recognise first.
Start with the birthday kid: their name, their age, their favourite colour, and whatever character they're obsessed with right now. Then add the theme, any topper idea, and how many the cake needs to feed.
It still has to suit the party time, travel, storage, and guest count.
